Mivaan is certified by the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities (DODD) to provide waiver-funded support services for individuals with developmental disabilities across the entire state of Ohio.
What is Ohio DODD?
The Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities (DODD) is the state agency that oversees supports and services for Ohioans with developmental disabilities. DODD partners with county boards of DD across Ohio to fund home and community-based services (HCBS) through Medicaid waiver programs.
As a certified DODD provider, Mivaan Health Care Services is authorized to deliver waiver-funded services \u2014 meaning eligible individuals can receive care at no out-of-pocket cost through their approved waiver plan.
Ohio DODD Waiver Programs
Mivaan is certified to provide services under Ohio’s three primary DODD waiver programs:
Level 1 Waiver
Ohio’s most comprehensive DD waiver, supporting individuals with significant support needs who require a wide range of home and community-based services.
SELF Waiver
Self-Empowered Life Funding \u2014 Ohio’s self-directed waiver option, giving individuals and families the flexibility to hire and manage their own care team.
IO Waiver
For individuals who need a lower level of support. Focused on maintaining independence and preventing the need for more intensive services.
